Context
Context
⚡️ From September 2021 to December 2021 I was doing an internship at Tallinn
University at the
School of Digital Technologies
. I was working as a web design 👩🏼💻 intern with a team of the School of Digital
Technologies on the eDidaktikum project.
After completing the internship I was offered to
continue working on the project as a part-time UX/UI and web designer. The application is
still under intense development and it is planned to go live by the summer of 2024. You may
check out the front-end template repo of the project on
GitHub.

eDidaktikum
is the biggest online study platform in 🇪🇪 Estonia. Used by 20k students and
all
major universities of Estonia: Tartu University, Tallinn University, Estonian Academy of
Arts, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Role
👩🏼💻 My role
🚀 I am responsible for adapting the current UI design layout of the website to achieve the
development team's aims and needs. My main goal is to implement the best UX practices as
well as to develop new interfaces for the front-end and implement the design in code.
🚀 The platform eDidaktikum goes through the biggest upgrade since 2013 and a new system
eDidaktikum 2 will become a new home for more than 20k users. Apart from the UX research
that I am doing, I am also responsible for the development of a new Tailwind template for
this project. I am working closely with the development team in an Agile development cycle
and I am also supervised by the lead developers.
📍 My responsibilities:
💎 1. Redesigning and developing a fresh platform using best UX/UI practices and front-end
skills.
💎 2. Working with senior-level developers in an Agile development cycle.
💎 3. Redesigning templates with Tailwind framework and working on front-end widgets.
💎 4. Creating a Tailwind theme with HTML, CSS, and PostCSS.
💎 5. Figma for lo-fi UI mockups.
💎 6. Using Git version control.
💎 7. Testing the solution.
